Our Wines

Parmelee-Hill Vineyards decided in 2001 to begin making a limited amount of high-end syrah under our own label. We have since added other wine varieties. To make the type of wine we wanted meant sourcing a winemaker of the highest caliber to help achieve our stylistic goals. We found him in Don Van Staaveren of Chateau St. Jean fame and Don continues to help and advise in the making of our wine.

2016 Estate Chardonnay ~ Aromas of Coconut, white chocolate and apple bread pudding in a round silky finish.

2016 Estate Pinot Noir ~ Dark garnet color. Aromas of cherry pie and smoked plums. Fruity medium body with a smooth chocolate cookie finish. A concentrated Pinot Noir that doesn't skimp on flavor.

2013 "Block B" Estate Syrah ~ Smoky aromas and flavors of vanilla, nutmeg and dark chocolate with a rose tea well-integrated lengthy finish. A powerful Syrah.

2016 Night Cap Zinfandel ~ Ruby black color. Aromas of boysenberry jam and coca powder with earthy tannis and moderate oak flavor. A rich and layered Zinfandel with pleasure from start to finish.

2009 NIGHT CAP Syrah Port
20% alcohol, but does not taste hot. Just try it with “smoors” around a campfire and you will fall in love with this wine. Very dark, inky, deep purple tints. Ripe, heady dried fruit, jammy, porty, black raspberry, wiff of violets, nutty aromas. On the palate it's juicy, syraupy with loads of ripe red and black berry fruit, followed by cinnamon and sweet spices, wrapped in a hint of creamy oak. The finish is long, viscous, plush and silky.
